Our programmes & training

We provide learning and development opportunities for schools and teachers to better support learners who have literacy difficulties and SEND. Our offer to schools is designed to provide sustainable systemic and classroom practice improvements that enable all learners to access the education that is responsive to their needs.

Drive for Literacy

Drive for Literacy (DfL) is our flagship programme, where we work in collaboration with your school to create a culture where outcomes are improved for learners with literacy difficulties.

DfL is designed to support teachers in their leadership and practice of reading, writing, and classroom communication. One of our consultant teachers will develop a DfL programme of support that is tailored to your school’s needs and context.

Supporting teachers is central to our offer to schools. Our professional learning opportunities have been designed to help teachers further improve their classroom practice in literacy, SEND and inclusion. We can provide this support through INSET days, or full, half and twilight sessions. Our workshops are aimed at whole staff teams, SENCos, Literacy Leads and Teaching Assistants.

We are currently developing our 2020 CPD offer. In the meantime, please register your interest for information.

We provide bespoke training for Governors, showing them how to get the most out of the SEND Governance Review Guide – a free practical framework for managing accountability around effective SEND support.
