Our vision is for every young person in the UK to receive an education which is responsive to their literacy needs. But, at DYT we know that there is no simple solution for raising standards in literacy. Schools are unique, complex and different, constantly evolving and responding to an ever more complicated political landscape.
That’s why, at DYT, we believe that each school requires a nuanced understanding of it’s learners to be able to improve their literacy. Instead of offering stand-alone interventions, or ad hoc CPD, we work with leadership, we look at systems and we approach solutions with an eye for sustainability, ensuring that inclusive literacy practices can be embedded within the school structure.
