I am delighted that you are interested in learning more about the Operations Manager role at Driver Youth Trust.
The Driver Youth Trust is a national charity committed to improving outcomes for young people who struggle with literacy. Our mission is to promote the following:
We believe that by building school capacity and improving the knowledge, skills and understanding of teachers is the best way to make sure that every child, regardless of their background, gets a great education. However, there are real systemic issues that can make this difficult, such as the lack of appropriate teacher training.
That’s why we are doing things differently – re-thinking the role of teaching consultants providing guidance and support to schools in a way that uses the best practice, with a sound understanding of research and evidence. We believe every child needs a great teacher and that every teacher deserves the highest quality training.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team. The Operations Manager will work closely with senior leaders to manage our programmes of work, internal infrastructure, data management systems and ensure DYT remains legally compliant.
In order to excel in this role, you will need to have experience as a project manager, be flexible to meet the demands of our growing organisation, setting a course through ambiguity and changing circumstances.
Above all, you will have a commitment to the vision and values of DYT and a determination to improve the education of young people who struggle with literacy.
